U.S. Spine & Sport Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 charitable organization. Thus, we depend on external funding sources, such, a grants and donations to carry out our mission of developing, testing, and implementing strategies to improve quality of life and physical function through research and related knowledge translation efforts such as community outreach and education. Thus, your donations are greatly appreciated.

Your contribution could be allocated to support the general mission of the Foundation.

Or, your contribution could be allocated to support specific initiatives, such as our Concussion Prevention Program. Concussion is common, costly, and negatively impacts cognition, motor function, and quality of life. If left undetected and without proper initial management, concussion can lead to Second Impact Syndrome, resulting in permanent disability or even death. While much attention has been placed on concussion management in professional athletes and military personnel, standardized, evidence-based, and effective concussion management programs have not been widely implemented for high school athletes. Thus, concussion prevention programs including targeted assessments and interventions are needed. We propose to develop, test, and implement a comprehensive management program for concussion prevention and early detection in high school soccer players.

Thank you very much for your support. We are committed to providing the best quality service to the community.
